Bokura no Shokutaku

Yutaka has always struggled with a simple act that most people take for granted: sharing a meal in the company of others. For him, eating alongside people is an uncomfortable experience, one he typically avoids by keeping to himself. This solitary routine takes an unexpected turn one day when he visits a local park and crosses paths with two siblings, Minoru and Tane. Despite the significant age difference between the brother and sister, their presence introduces a gentle disruption into Yutaka’s carefully isolated world. What begins as a chance encounter gradually evolves into something far more meaningful. The three of them—Yutaka, Minoru, and Tane—start sharing meals together at the park, transforming what was once a source of anxiety for Yutaka into a quiet, shared ritual. Through these simple gatherings around food, an unlikely bond forms among them, offering Yutaka a new perspective on connection and companionship. Their shared dining table becomes a space where personal barriers slowly begin to lower, paving the way for genuine warmth and understanding.
