Setting sail across treacherous waters, Sherbet is well aware of the dangers lurking beneath the waves and beyond the horizon, from ruthless pirates to monstrous sea creatures. Yet, nothing unsettles her quite like the chilling rumors of a phantom vessel said to abduct unsuspecting travelers. Though she finds a sliver of comfort in the whispers that the ghost ship only claims those with a specific purpose, her fragile peace shatters when she awakens aboard the dreaded ship herself, completely unaware of why she was chosen. Resignation quickly gives way to unexpected excitement when Sherbet discovers she is not alone on the infamous vessel. Sharing her mysterious captivity is Granita, a brooding and strikingly handsome pirate whose stern demeanor does little to dampen her enthusiasm. While Sherbet views their predicament as an opportunity for adventure and romance, Granita sees things very differently. To the gruff pirate, the relentlessly cheerful and boldly flirtatious girl is nothing short of a personal torment—a bubbly menace who refuses to keep her wandering hands and suggestive remarks to herself.
