Shinigami no Ko Kokoronokori

Despite being one hundred and five years old, Guri-chan remains a child at heart, yet she harbors a profound ambition to inherit her father’s legendary scythe. As the daughter of the Grim Reaper, she is determined to shed her youthful innocence and prove herself worthy of the family mantle. To demonstrate that she has matured into a full-fledged shinigami capable of handling the solemn duties of death, she must successfully complete a critical rite of passage that will validate her status within the supernatural hierarchy. Her inaugural assignment leads her to a thirty-something man whose name has appeared on the death list, an individual distinguished by his peculiar passion for American hot dogs. This seemingly mundane soul becomes the focal point of her professional debut, presenting a unique challenge that tests both her resolve and her nascent abilities. Saving this specific spirit serves as her first official job, marking the pivotal moment where her century-long childhood collides with the grave responsibilities of reaping, ultimately determining whether she can truly claim the scythe and her rightful place as a Grim Reaper.
