Summary

Official Details
Caught in a torrential downpour while searching for the Peveril estate, Minerva finds herself hopelessly lost and paralyzed by an overwhelming sense of dread. Just as she struggles to steady her nerves, a mysterious man on horseback emerges from the storm directly in her path. When she explains that she is seeking the master of the Peveril mansion, the striking stranger introduces himself as Nick Peveril, greeting her with the chilling words, “Welcome to nowhere.” To her astonishment, this enigmatic figure is none other than her own sister’s husband. Once inside the grand and opulent residence, Minerva begins to uncover fragments of the life her sister led behind its lavish doors. Yet, beneath the splendor of the estate, a dark undercurrent lingers. As she observes Nick more closely, a haunting suspicion takes root in her mind. She becomes entirely convinced that her brother-in-law holds the key to a terrible secret, and that he knows the true circumstances surrounding her sister’s untimely death.
