Official Details
For as long as he can remember, Shori Himesaki has been haunted by vivid, recurring dreams of a medieval realm. In these visions, a valiant knight stands guard over a beautiful princess, defending her from unseen dangers. Throughout his youth, Shori casually accepted a comforting assumption about these nightly journeys: he believed he was the reincarnation of that brave warrior, destined to have once wielded a sword in service of royalty. This idle fantasy shaped his quiet understanding of himself, never prompting him to question the true nature of his past. Everything shifts dramatically during his high school entrance ceremony. The moment Shori locks eyes with a fellow student named Asako Kishi, the foundation of his lifelong belief shatters, replaced by an overwhelming and undeniable truth. He realizes with startling clarity that he was never the gallant protector in his previous existence. Instead, he was the princess herself, and Asako was the devoted knight who had sworn an unbreakable oath to keep him safe. Now thrust into an ordinary modern setting, Shori must grapple with this profound revelation and the unexpected reality of the girl standing before him.
