Valkyrie Profile

As the apocalyptic prophecy of Ragnarok looms ever closer, Odin, the supreme ruler of the gods, takes decisive action to prepare for the impending cosmic war. He summons Lenneth Valkyrie, one of the three divine Goddesses of Destiny, and entrusts her with a mission of paramount importance. She is commanded to descend into the mortal realm to seek out the souls of exceptional warriors. These chosen spirits are destined to become Einherjar, elite heroes who will stand alongside the gods in their final, desperate battle against the forces of destruction. Descending into Midgard, the earthly plane inhabited by humanity, Lenneth begins her solemn duty of gathering the fallen. Yet, as she journeys through the world of mortals and bears witness to their fleeting lives, tragedies, and unyielding courage, her divine detachment begins to fracture. The profound experiences she encounters among humans stir unfamiliar emotions within her immortal spirit. Through these trials, Lenneth finds herself confronting an unexpected internal conflict, forced to question the very nature of her existence and the true meaning behind her identity as a servant of the gods.
