Bokujou Monogatari: Kimi to Sodatsu Shima

To celebrate the release of Bokujou Monogatari: Kimi to Sodatsu Shima, also known as Island of Happiness, a special sixteen-page manga adaptation was serialized in the Japanese children's magazine Shogaku San-Nen-Sei. Illustrated by Igusa Matsuyama, the official character artist for the franchise, the story debuted in the January 2007 issue and concluded with a follow-up chapter in February of the same year. The narrative unfolds through two distinct perspectives, beginning with Mark's unexpected arrival on a remote island after a crash landing. Taken in by a compassionate local family, he repays their kindness by dedicating himself to their land, helping them successfully cultivate their very first harvest during their inaugural year of farming. Chelsea’s tale takes a more unconventional turn when she inadvertently hires two individuals who turn out to be robbers. Despite their criminal backgrounds, the pair proves surprisingly capable, offering invaluable assistance around her farm. Through the honest labor and Chelsea's influence, the two ultimately choose to leave the island behind, departing with the genuine intention of reforming themselves and becoming better people.
