Zatsu Tabi - That's Journey

Chika has just begun her career as a manga artist, but finding the perfect story for her debut proves to be an overwhelming challenge. After her editor repeatedly rejects every concept she pitches, exhaustion and creative frustration take their toll. Desperate for inspiration and a change of scenery, she is struck by a sudden impulse: she needs to travel somewhere—anywhere that isn't here. Turning to her social media followers for guidance, Chika asks them to choose her destination's direction. Once the verdict is in, she embarks on a completely spontaneous journey northward without any itinerary or plans. Despite having no idea what awaits her, the trip quickly unfolds into an unforgettable adventure filled with unexpected discoveries. She encounters breathtaking sights, savors incredible local cuisine, and finds herself staying in remarkable places she never could have anticipated. Every moment of this unplanned expedition brings fresh joy and wonder. Occasionally, friends join her along the way, adding even more warmth and excitement to her travels. Through each spontaneous detour and shared experience, Chika embraces the freedom of the open road, discovering exactly what she needed far beyond the confines of her workspace.
