Konbini de Kimi to no 5-funkan

For a hardworking office lady, the daily commute home holds one simple pleasure: a brief stop at the local convenience store. This short detour has become her quiet sanctuary after long hours at work, offering a moment of peace before the day truly ends. Yet, what begins as a mundane routine slowly transforms into something far more meaningful through her fleeting encounters with the store’s young part-time clerk. Shibasaki is a high school student known for his stoic, unreadable expression. Behind the register, he maintains a perfectly composed demeanor, rarely showing any outward emotion to the customers who pass through the doors. However, this carefully guarded composure is unexpectedly tested whenever the office lady steps inside. For reasons even he cannot fully explain, her presence stirs something deep within him, gently disrupting his usual indifference and leaving him quietly moved by their brief interactions. Though they are separated by age, lifestyle, and circumstance, their paths consistently cross in the narrow aisles of the shop. Each visit lasts only five minutes, yet those small moments gradually weave a delicate bond between two strangers. Konbini de Kimi to no 5-funkan is a heartwarming manga that beautifully captures the quiet magic of everyday connections, exploring how passing glances and shared routines can softly change two lives.
