Still, It Rains

Journalist Jang Gi-Jun infiltrates the Heaven's Harvest Sect, a secretive cult devoted to a supposed god of abundance, expecting nothing more than the standard web of lies and blind fanaticism. Instead, he discovers Hui-Sae, a young and unsettlingly serene figure who serves as the group's leader. Far from wielding power, Hui-Sae is forced into a harrowing existence where he must physically "share blessings" with frenzied followers through ritualistic acts disguised as spiritual salvation. Sensing that this story extends far beyond his initial expectations, Gi-Jun begins to dig deeper into the sect's inner workings. As he observes the twisted dynamics at play, the boundary between genuine religious devotion and outright exploitation begins to blur. He soon realizes that the most disturbing truths of the Heaven's Harvest Sect are not hidden within its sacred texts or doctrines, but rather in the horrifying demands it places upon the very person it claims to worship as divine.
