Summary
Official Details
Sixteen-year-old Sophia Riller is about to participate in the Blessing Ceremony, a sacred coming-of-age ritual where adolescents receive extraordinary abilities from various animal deities. The boons granted are as diverse as the gods themselves; a blessing from one of the avian deities, for instance, might bestow wings capable of soaring through the skies. Naturally clumsy and hoping to avoid unwanted attention, Sophia quietly wishes to be chosen by an inconspicuous god. However, fate has other plans when she is unexpectedly selected by the Gorilla God. Those blessed by this particular deity are renowned for their exceptional combat prowess and are required to take the examination to become a Junior Knight. On the day of her exam, Sophia crosses paths with Louis, a handsome aspiring knight, along with two other boys who soon discover the true nature of her divine patron. From that moment forward, Sophia’s life is irrevocably transformed, thrusting her into a world of martial expectations she never anticipated.
