Hikikomori Reijou wa Hanashi no Wakaru Seiju-ban

Muriel, the daughter of a Count, has no interest in high society. As a devoted shut-in who struggles with social interaction, she prefers nothing more than losing herself in the pages of her beloved books. However, her quiet life is disrupted when her father makes a desperate plea: their family needs funds to care for her bedridden mother, and he asks her to take a position at the Royal Palace. Horrified by the prospect of navigating court life, Muriel firmly refuses—until her father suggests she work as a librarian instead. Enticed by the promise of being surrounded by books, she reluctantly agrees and immediately sets off for an interview. To her utter bewilderment, the interview is not conducted by a fellow bookkeeper, but by Commander Silas, the strikingly alluring leader of the Sacred Beast Order. Before Muriel can fully process what is happening, she finds herself hired under a completely unexpected title: Sacred Beast Caretaker, tasked with tending to the kingdom's mystical creatures. This highly popular series from Ichijinsha's Iris Collection now receives its long-awaited manga adaptation, delivering a delightful romantic comedy about a reclusive noblewoman and the captivating commander who draws her out of her shell.
