Love or Hate

Hae-Soo is a deeply cynical writer who pens a romance column, living a life that sharply contrasts with the idealized love he writes about. His former stepbrother, Joo-Won, has risen to fame as a celebrated actor. Forced together years ago when their parents married, the two men share a history that defies easy categorization. They are neither simply brothers nor conventional lovers, existing instead in a volatile space between friendship and physical desire. Their connection is defined by a constant push and pull of irritation and infatuation, marked by endless cycles of dating and breaking up. This fragile equilibrium shatters when an enigmatic photographer known only as “K” begins showing a keen interest in Hae-Soo. As K draws him into a new orbit, the carefully maintained boundaries between Hae-Soo and Joo-Won start to unravel, sending their lives spiraling out of control. The distinction between artistic expression and raw reality grows increasingly blurred, leaving both men caught in a shifting narrative they can no longer dictate.
