Jigokuren: Love in the Hell

Rintaro Senkawa is an ordinary young man in his mid-twenties whose life comes to an abrupt and unexpected end. After a night of heavy drinking, he suffers a fatal fall, only to awaken not in the afterlife he might have imagined, but in the fiery depths of Hell itself. This sudden demise, however, marks the true beginning of his story rather than its conclusion. Thrust into this infernal realm, Rintaro quickly discovers that his journey through damnation will be anything but conventional. Upon his arrival, he is introduced to his designated guide, Koyori—a strikingly alluring devil whose captivating presence makes navigating the underworld infinitely more complicated. Tasked with leading him through his punishment, she introduces Rintaro to a harrowing new reality where redemption hangs in the balance. To escape his grim fate, he must find the resolve to take his circumstances seriously and genuinely repent for the sins accumulated during his mortal life. Yet, maintaining such discipline proves to be a monumental challenge. Surrounded by scantily clad devils armed with iron-spiked clubs, Rintaro finds himself caught in a relentless cycle of temptation, teasing, and torment. His ultimate struggle lies in whether he can muster the spiritual fortitude required for salvation, or if he is destined to remain forever at the mercy of Hell's seductive and dangerous inhabitants.
