Midwood

For as long as Jin Cheongdo can remember, the world has been overrun by monsters. Humanity once relied on an elite force of monster slayers known as the Sretu to keep the terrifying creatures at bay. However, when the Sretu collapsed and ceased to function as it once did, the fragile balance between humans and monsters shattered completely. Without their protectors, mankind was reduced to little more than prey, left to survive in a brutal, nightmarish landscape where death lurked around every corner. Having endured this merciless reality his entire life, Jin Cheongdo finally discovers a means to change everything. He comes into possession of Midwood, a legendary artifact possessing the extraordinary power to reverse time itself. Armed with this miraculous item, he makes the desperate decision to turn back the clock, returning to an era before humanity's downfall became inevitable. His mission is singular and unwavering: to assassinate Ian, the individual responsible for orchestrating the catastrophic collapse that doomed the world. Driven by a lifetime of suffering and loss, Jin Cheongdo must navigate the past with lethal precision. To save humanity from becoming monster feed, he must eliminate the centerpiece of the apocalypse before history can repeat its darkest chapter.
