Miserarete

Six years after graduating high school as bitter rivals, Kaoru and Kuzumi unexpectedly cross paths again as employees of the same company. Much has changed since their youth; Kuzumi became a father at seventeen and now raises his young son, Kouhei, as a single parent. Their reunion forces Kaoru to confront a deeply painful past shaped by the Nanbu clan, whose destructive actions ruined numerous businesses. In the devastating aftermath, Kaoru’s twin brother, Akira, abandoned their family at fifteen, and his best friend, Yuuma—whose father went bankrupt—was also forced away. Stripped of his closest bonds, Kaoru grew convinced he was fundamentally incapable of loving anyone, resigning himself to a hollow existence devoid of affection. That fragile emotional isolation shatters when Kuzumi suddenly makes an aggressive sexual advance toward him. This shocking encounter drags both men into a turbulent new dynamic, raising unsettling questions about the dark secrets Kuzumi harbors beneath his composed exterior. Bound together by shared history and unexpected desire, they must navigate the lingering wreckage of their pasts to discover if genuine happiness between them is truly possible.
