Betrayed by both his closest friend and his lover, Kang In-Young finds his life shattered when he is framed for murder and sentenced to prison. Stripped of his freedom and everything he once trusted, he struggles to survive behind bars until a fateful encounter changes his destiny. He crosses paths with an elderly inmate who appears to be nothing more than a former petty thief. However, the old man harbors a profound secret: decades ago, he stole a forbidden martial art from the powerful JeonJin sect. To evade their relentless pursuit, he deliberately committed a crime to hide within the prison walls, spending thirty long years quietly mastering the stolen techniques in confinement. Tragedy strikes when the elderly master contracts a deadly, plague-like illness that leaves him on the brink of death. Recognizing something worthy in Kang In-Young after observing him closely, the old man makes a final decision to name the betrayed prisoner as his sole heir, passing down the entirety of his secret martial arts before succumbing to the disease. Left alone with this immense burden and legacy, Kang In-Young dedicates himself entirely to his training. Ten years after his mentor’s passing, he finally achieves complete mastery of the hidden art, transforming from a broken, wrongly convicted man into a formidable force ready to face the world beyond his cell.
