Tenkaichi: The Greatest Warrior Under the Rising Sun

In an alternate reimagining of Japan’s past, the year is 1600. A full decade has passed since the legendary Oda Nobunaga successfully unified the entire nation under his rule. Now, sensing that his time in this world is drawing to a close, the aging ruler issues a monumental decree: he will surrender the reins of absolute power to whoever can present him with the single strongest warrior in the land. This proclamation ignites a fierce ambition among the defeated generals, whose own dreams of conquest were shattered years ago. Seeing one final opportunity to seize control of the country, they begin sponsoring their most formidable fighters, each desperate to claim the throne through martial supremacy. The stage is set for a brutal and spectacular tournament where the fate of the nation will be decided by blade and blood. The highly anticipated opening match immediately establishes the staggering caliber of the competition. Representing Tokugawa Ieyasu is Honda Tadakatsu, a peerless master of the spear whose reputation on the battlefield is unmatched. Standing against him is Miyamoto Musashi, an ever-evolving prodigy of combat sponsored by Chosokabe Motochika. As these two extraordinary warriors prepare to clash, the struggle to determine the greatest fighter under the rising sun begins in earnest.
