Summary

Official Details
Risa Amakawa is the picture of composure, a high school student who navigates life with meticulous self-reliance. Her heavy bag is a testament to her preparedness, stocked with everything from spare erasers and extra folding umbrellas to a complete first aid kit. For Risa, anticipating every possible scenario is second nature, and asking another person for assistance is an entirely foreign concept. However, her fiercely independent routine is disrupted one rainy evening when she intervenes to help a battered delinquent in the park. True to form, she outright refuses any offer of repayment, expecting the encounter to end there. Unfortunately, rescuing the notorious Zen Ohira comes with unforeseen consequences. The incident inadvertently draws the attention of dangerous individuals, pulling Risa into situations she cannot solve with items from her bag. Time and again, Zen appears to pull her out of trouble, acting as an unexpected shield against the threats now trailing her. Through his persistent interventions, Risa’s rigid worldview begins to fracture. As she slowly learns what it means to trust someone else, her deeply guarded feelings about relying on others—and her growing emotions toward Zen—start to transform in ways she never anticipated.
