Set in a near-future society where mechanical bio-enhancements have become the standard for everyday life, Paula navigates the world as an anomaly. To ensure her safety in this highly augmented era, Paula is assigned Sol as her personal bodyguard. A former soldier, Sol represents the opposite end of the technological spectrum; his entire body has been comprehensively rebuilt into a cyborg, replacing nearly everything organic with advanced machinery. Together, they form an unlikely pair, navigating a society where neither truly fits the mold of what is considered normal. Despite their stark physical differences, a profound connection begins to blossom between them. Stripped of the ability to blend seamlessly into the enhanced masses, both Paula and Sol exist on the fringes of their world.
