Following a long-standing family tradition, Kiryuu Yoshitsugu serves the prestigious Saionji household as a devoted butler. His primary responsibility is caring for Kaede, the family’s first and only son. Beneath his composed professional exterior, Yoshitsugu has harbored deep romantic feelings for his young master since their childhood days together. However, Kaede has always dreamed of finding his perfect prince—a role that Yoshitsugu knows he can never fulfill. He chooses instead to act as Kaede’s loyal knight, quietly protecting him from the shadows while supporting his master’s search for an idealized partner. It is a delicate balance of duty and heartache, one he believes he can maintain indefinitely so long as his secret remains safely hidden. Yet Yoshitsugu’s carefully constructed restraint is pushed to its absolute limit when Kaede suddenly rushes home with thrilling news: he has finally encountered the very prince he has spent his life searching for. Faced with the imminent reality of his master’s newfound romance, Yoshitsugu must confront a devastating question. Can he truly keep his overwhelming emotions in check, or will his silent devotion finally shatter the boundaries of his role?
