Hoshino Hibana wa Mitsugareru

Twenty-five-year-old Mika Hoshino is currently unemployed, yet she navigates her days with a quiet, undeniable sense of contentment. Her ability to live comfortably without a traditional income stems from an extraordinary and almost overwhelming trait: she is a natural recipient of generosity. Endowed with a mysterious magnetism that draws specific individuals into her orbit, Mika finds her livelihood entirely sustained by the unwavering support and goodwill of those who surround her. Rather than participating in the conventional workforce, she exists entirely outside the rigid framework of market logic—the standard societal system built upon the transactional exchange of money and goods. Her survival does not depend on commerce or labor, but rather on the profound connections she effortlessly forms with others. This unconventional lifestyle raises intriguing questions about human dependency, generosity, and value. As she drifts through her days supported solely by the kindness of others, the manga explores the unique rhythm and reality of what her daily life truly looks like when freed from economic constraints.
