Sakura, Sakimashita.: Last Springtime of Life

In the year 2238, humanity has conquered aging. Thanks to groundbreaking advancements in technology, people can now choose to halt the passage of time on their bodies, ushering in an era of eternal youth. Amid this seemingly perfect world, a student named Tsubasa prepares for the start of a new school year. His routine is disrupted when his swimming club is unexpectedly disbanded, leaving him without a place to belong. Encouraged by his childhood friend Tsubame, he reluctantly joins the enigmatic "Life Club," an eccentric group dedicated to the mysterious pursuit of "life energy." Though Tsubasa remains unsure of what that goal truly entails, his days quickly fill with delightfully unpredictable activities. The club members spend their time hunting for buried treasure, indulging in sweets at a local café called Shitoran-tei, and organizing vibrant cosplay fashion shows. It is a whimsical, carefree existence, made all the more enjoyable by Tsubame’s constant companionship. However, the illusion of permanence shatters after one of their outings. Returning home through eerily silent streets, Tsubasa witnesses a chilling emergency broadcast. An asteroid is hurtling toward Earth on a direct collision course, and authorities confirm there is virtually no chance of survival. In a world that had finally defeated death, the end of everything has arrived.
