All My Darling Daughters

Yukiko is a career-driven woman in her thirties who has long shared a home with her mother, Mari. The prospective groom is not only an aspiring actor and former host, but he is also younger than Yukiko herself. This unexpected revelation throws their relationship into turmoil, leaving Yukiko struggling to process the sudden shift in her family dynamic. Convinced that this younger man harbors ulterior motives and is simply scheming to exploit her mother financially, Yukiko finds the atmosphere at home increasingly unbearable. Unable to tolerate living under the same roof as her mother’s controversial fiancé, she makes the impulsive decision to leave. Seeking refuge from the escalating tension, she chooses to move in with her own boyfriend, setting the stage for a complex exploration of familial bonds, trust, and independence.
