For twenty years, Zhan Chuyi lived a life of luxury, thoroughly pampered by her affluent family. Now, determined to prove herself and prepare for the day she inherits their business empire, she decides it is time to build a genuine career from the ground up. As her professional training ground, she sets her sights on an entertainment agency teetering on the brink of bankruptcy, fully intending to turn its fortunes around. Fate intervenes when she discovers that her new next-door neighbor happens to be the struggling company’s top actress. Naturally, Zhan Chuyi makes it her personal mission to support the starlet in every conceivable way. When she needs a designer dress, Zhan Chuyi offers her own wardrobe. When the agency desperately requires funding, she steps in as the investor. If a celebrity guest appearance is needed to draw attention, she volunteers without hesitation. She even finds herself running errands as mundane as taking the actress's cat to the veterinarian. What begins as a calculated business acquisition quickly evolves into something far more unexpected. Her efforts to save the entertainment company prove wildly successful, but the greatest surprise comes entirely unplanned. Alongside her thriving corporate takeover, Zhan Chuyi realizes she has inadvertently won the heart of her leading lady, acquiring a girlfriend in the process.
