21 Emon

Set in the year 2018, Earth has transformed into a bustling interstellar destination frequented by tourists from across the galaxy. Amid this vibrant cosmic era lives a young boy named 21 Emon, who harbors a passionate dream of becoming a space pilot and exploring the vast reaches of the universe. Rather than following his ambitions among the stars, however, he finds himself anchored to a much more grounded responsibility. 21 Emon is the designated heir to a prestigious lineage of hotel owners, a proud family legacy that traces its origins all the way back to a founder who established the business during the Tokugawa shogunate. Despite centuries of history, the family’s traditional establishment now struggles to survive in an increasingly competitive, space-faring economy. With extraterrestrial visitors constantly arriving on Earth, the demands of the hospitality industry have never been greater. Caught between his personal aspirations and his familial obligations, 21 Emon faces a daunting dilemma. He must dedicate his time and energy to helping manage the struggling hotel, as failing to support the family business will inevitably lead to bankruptcy. His journey becomes a delicate balancing act between chasing his dream of navigating the cosmos and preserving a historic heritage that depends entirely on his efforts.
