Emperor, Stay Here, Your Knight's Getting Off Work

Sir Leon serves as the capable leader of the imperial guard, but unlike most soldiers driven by blind loyalty or ambition, he values one thing above all else: a healthy work-life balance. When Emperor Oso makes yet another unreasonable request, asking his trusted captain to stand watch at his bedside throughout the night, Leon does not hesitate to push back. He bluntly demands extra compensation for the overtime, making it perfectly clear that without a proper bonus, he will simply clock out and leave the emperor to fend for himself. For Emperor Oso, however, these late-night guard shifts are far more than standard security protocols. The monarch harbors a deep desire to spend every possible moment in Leon’s company, constantly finding excuses to keep his favorite guard close. While Leon views their dynamic through the practical lens of an employee negotiating fair terms, Oso sees an opportunity to bridge the gap between them. Caught between a ruler who refuses to let him go and a captain determined to enforce his personal boundaries, their daily interactions blur the lines of duty and devotion. As the emperor continues his relentless campaign to monopolize Leon's time, the question remains whether these two will ever manage to break free from their rigid employer-employee relationship.
