Kakafukaka

Twenty-four-year-old Aki Terada is struggling to find her footing in life. Despite her persistent efforts, she remains unsuccessful in her job hunt and is forced to rely on part-time work to get by. Her personal life fares no better when the boyfriend she had been living with betrays her trust by cheating on her. Left heartbroken and without a place to stay, Aki is compelled to seek out new living arrangements. By chance, she ends up sharing an apartment with a familiar face from her past: Tomoya Hongou, a former junior high school classmate who also happens to be her very first boyfriend. However, the reunion quickly reveals that Tomoya is not the same person she once knew. For roughly the past two years, he has been afflicted by a mysterious condition that has left him feeling helpless and disconnected. Everything changes when Tomoya unexpectedly experiences a physical reaction specifically triggered by Aki's presence. Realizing that she might hold the key to his recovery, he makes an unusual and deeply personal request. He asks Aki to help him overcome his long-standing affliction, drawing the two former classmates into an intimate arrangement that will profoundly complicate their shared lives.
