Dr. STONE: Hoshi no Yume, Chi no Uta

Dr. STONE: Hoshi no Yume, Chi no Uta weaves together two distinct narratives that explore the boundless curiosity and resilience of its characters across different eras. The first story unfolds before the catastrophic event that petrified humanity, offering a glimpse into Senku’s high school days. Driven by his relentless passion for discovery, he leads the science club in an ambitious and challenging endeavor: devising a strategic plan to successfully launch a rocket. This pre-petrification tale highlights the intellectual determination that would later define him, capturing the excitement and hurdles of turning theoretical science into reality within the familiar walls of his school. The second narrative shifts to the harsh, transformed world following humanity's petrification. In this new era, Chrome, Kohaku, and Suika embark on a remarkably creative journey by forming their own musical band. Lacking modern technology, they rely entirely on their ingenuity to craft handmade instruments from the natural resources around them. Together, they perform music that echoes through the stone world, blending survival with artistic expression. To complement these compelling stories, the light novel also features special illustrations that bring both timelines vividly to life.
