Boogiepop wa Warawanai VS Imaginator

This volume marks the debut of the enigmatic Towa Organization, a shadowy faction that would later play a pivotal role in the Boogiepop Phantom anime series. As this new threat emerges from the margins of society, Boogiepop is thrust into a perilous game of survival. The supernatural protector finds himself relentlessly pursued by Spooky E, a formidable synthetic human engineered for a singular purpose. With a relentless hunter closing in, Boogiepop must navigate an increasingly dangerous landscape where trust is scarce and every encounter could be a fatal trap. Yet the hunt orchestrated by the Towa Organization is only one facet of a much larger crisis unfolding within the city. A deadly and insidious force known as the Imaginator has begun to move, driven by a radical ambition to reshape the world entirely. Rather than relying on brute strength, the Imaginator seeks to transform reality by infiltrating and altering human consciousness, changing the world one mind at a time. As paranoia spreads and individuals fall under this creeping influence, the boundary between ally and adversary blurs. Caught between a manufactured assassin and a psychological contagion, those entangled in this conflict face a chilling question: is it truly possible to escape the tightening grip of the Imaginator?
