Edzuke wa Yahan, Ano Heya de

Shinya is the proprietor of Omoiro, a unique establishment that caters to both humans and vampires, colloquially referred to as "bats." Behind the shop's welcoming doors lies a deeply personal secret he has guarded for the past ten years. Every night, Shinya willingly offers his own blood to Sunakawa Sanshirou, the man who has served as his devoted caretaker since his high school days. Their unusual arrangement stems from a violent incident that forever altered the course of their lives. While on his way to a dinner engagement, Sunakawa was suddenly attacked by a vampire, transforming him into one of the very creatures Shinya now serves. Faced with the terrifying reality of losing the person most important to him, Shinya made a desperate choice to ensure they would never be separated. By offering his blood, Shinya deliberately forged a binding master-and-servant dynamic between them. He believed that making himself essential to Sunakawa’s survival was the only guaranteed way to keep his former caretaker by his side. What began as a tragic curse has evolved into an intricate, decade-long bond built on sacrifice, dependency, and an unspoken devotion hidden away in a quiet room after dark.
