Miraiken de Ai wo Tsumugeba

Hibi has recently returned to his alma mater, this time stepping into the role of a school librarian. His new position brings an unexpected reunion with Sugino, his former upperclassman who is now employed as a teacher at the very same institution. Their shared history carries the weight of a painful past: during their high school years, Hibi had gathered the courage to confess his romantic feelings to Sugino. Instead of reciprocating, Sugino dismissed the confession entirely, insisting that Hibi was merely confused and fundamentally misunderstood what it meant to truly like someone. That harsh rejection left a lasting mark on Hibi, shaping the way he viewed both himself and his former senpai. Now, years later, the dynamic between them takes a startling turn when Sugino suddenly declares that he has developed genuine feelings for Hibi. However, the man standing before him is no longer the lovestruck student who once bared his heart. The passage of time and the sting of past dismissal have transformed Hibi's emotions entirely. What Sugino hopes to rekindle is met with a cold reality—the affection Hibi once held has long since faded, replaced by something far darker. In place of love, the only feeling Hibi harbors for Sugino now is deep-seated hatred.
