Online Game Nakama to Sashi Off shitara Shokuba no Oni Joushi ga Kita

Hashimoto is an ordinary salaryman enduring the daily grind of corporate life under the relentless supervision of his strikingly handsome but notoriously strict boss, Shirase. The crushing pressure of his workplace leaves him exhausted, and his only true source of comfort lies far from the office—in the virtual world of online gaming. There, he has formed a close bond with a fellow player known as UMA. Together, they spend their time joking around and sharing laughs, providing Hashimoto with a much-needed escape from reality. During their online sessions, Hashimoto frequently vents to UMA about the unbearable demands placed on him by his demanding superior. UMA always listens, offering a safe space where Hashimoto can finally relax and feel completely at ease. Grateful for this genuine connection, Hashimoto’s excitement grows when the two decide to take their friendship beyond the screen and arrange an in-person offline meeting. He approaches the upcoming rendezvous with soaring expectations, eager to finally meet the friend who has become his greatest source of support. However, when the moment arrives, the person waiting for him turns out to be someone entirely unexpected—leaving Hashimoto completely stunned.
