Akuten Wars

Akuten Wars centers on a popular card game where players battle using decks composed of angel and devil cards. The story follows Roto, an ordinary middle school student who initially views the game as nothing more than a casual pastime. However, his everyday life is disrupted when a mysterious angel appears to him within a dream. This celestial visitor delivers a dire warning: demons are exploiting the card game as a vessel to seize control of the real world. Dismissing the encounter as a mere figment of his imagination, Roto attempts to return to his normal routine. His skepticism shatters when he observes one of his classmates during a match. As the classmate plays the game, his behavior shifts drastically, revealing signs of genuine demonic possession. Suddenly thrust into a hidden conflict between heaven and hell, Roto must confront the terrifying reality that the warnings in his dream were true, and the fate of the world now hangs in the balance of a simple card game.
