Ashi-Girl

Sixteen-year-old Hayakawa Yui is a profoundly unmotivated girl whose greatest passions in life are eating and sleeping. Despite her age, she possesses the small stature of an elementary school boy, leaving her with only one remarkable talent: the ability to run at extraordinary speeds. Her quiet, lazy existence takes a dramatic turn when she accidentally activates a time machine constructed by her younger brother, instantly hurling her out of the modern world and into the turbulent Sengoku period. Stranded in an era defined by constant warfare, Yui must quickly adapt to survive. She seizes the opportunity to blend in by joining a group of retreating foot soldiers, disguising herself as a young man under the alias Yuinosuke. Life on the battlefield proves challenging for someone so accustomed to comfort, yet she navigates this dangerous new reality using her incredible speed to stay alive. Her journey through feudal Japan takes an unexpected romantic turn after she consumes some amanita mushrooms. In the midst of this chaotic historical backdrop, the hallucinogenic experience leads her directly to the man of her dreams, setting the stage for a unique adventure that intertwines survival, disguise, and sudden romance.
