The Great Master of Gensokyo

In a shocking turn of events, Saigyouji Hanyu is hurled through the fabric of time to an era a millennium past, finding himself in the midst of the Heian period. This ancient world is ablaze with the emergence of powerful forces: the dog demons of the western lands are rising to dominance, the tanuki of the four lands are starting to make their presence known, and the flower demons of Izumo are exerting their control over Tono. Meanwhile, the onmyoji of Heian-kyo are secretly plotting to topple the delicate balance between the yin and yang worlds. Born into a family with a complex history, Hanyu's father was a skilled sorcerer who had sealed away the formidable Saigyou Ayakashi, while his younger sister, Saigyouji Yuyuko, would later become a significant figure. Under the guidance of the unrefined but knowledgeable Kamo no Tadayuki and with the influence of his senior brother, the renowned Onmyoji Abe no Seimei, Hanyu initially aspired to a simple, peaceful existence. However, his life takes a dramatic turn as he embarks on the path of becoming an Onmyoji to seal away the Saigyou Ayakashi, setting him on a collision course with the mystical realm of Gensokyo and a mysterious young girl, leading his life down a precarious and unpredictable path.
