Just before he could take his final test, the Demon Lord was unexpectedly defeated by someone else, rendering the role of Hero entirely obsolete. Reluctantly entering the workforce, he secures a mundane job at Leon, a magic item shop located in the bustling royal capital. Settling into his new, unremarkable routine, Raul believes his days of adventure are permanently behind him. That assumption is challenged when a young, eager job-seeker wanders into the shop searching for employment. The situation quickly spirals from a standard hiring process into an unbelievable predicament when Raul discovers the applicant's true identity. The hopeful candidate standing before him is none other than the child of the very Demon Lord whose defeat ruined his dreams.
