Illusion Hunter from Another World

Beneath an ordinary exterior, Gi-ryeo harbors an extraordinary secret: he is not human, but an extraterrestrial being from another world. On his home planet of Alpha Uri, he served as the High Wizard, enduring a grueling and soul-crushing existence defined by relentless labor. Desperate to escape this oppressive life, he dedicated himself to mastering transmigration magic. Upon perfecting the spell, he finally fled his homeworld, transferring his consciousness into the body of a starving Hunter on Earth. Now inhabiting a new vessel on an unfamiliar planet, Gi-ryeo finds himself immersed in an environment saturated with more magic than he ever encountered on Alpha Uri. This abundance of mystical energy offers unprecedented opportunities, but it also introduces profound challenges. He must quickly learn to adapt to his new surroundings and master the unique dynamics of Earth's magical landscape while navigating the perilous life of a Hunter. Survival, however, requires far more than simply adjusting to a new world. Gi-ryeo’s greatest challenge lies in maintaining absolute secrecy regarding his true identity. As he builds his life on Earth, he remains acutely aware that those who seek the missing High Wizard may eventually track him across the stars. To protect his newfound freedom, he must conceal his alien origins at all costs, balancing his immense hidden power against the constant threat of discovery.
