Ghost-Be-Gone

Since birth, Jong-Eon has possessed the unsettling ability to see ghosts, forcing him to navigate a life overshadowed by restless spirits. His bleak everyday existence takes an unexpected turn during college when he is paired with Hye-Seong, a bright and cheerful underclassman, for a group project. To Jong-Eon’s astonishment, Hye-Seong unknowingly functions as a living deterrent against the supernatural. In his presence, the phantoms that have tormented Jong-Eon for years simply vanish, offering a fleeting taste of normalcy. Driven by a desperate longing for peace, Jong-Eon begins shadowing Hye-Seong everywhere on campus, using him as a personal shield against the spirit world. However, this constant proximity inevitably draws suspicion. When Hye-Seong finally confronts him about his lingering presence, panic overtakes reason. Cornered and unable to explain the truth about the ghosts, Jong-Eon blurts out the first excuse that comes to mind: he claims to be hopelessly in love with his underclassman. What began as a quiet strategy for survival instantly spirals into a complicated web of fabricated romance, leaving Jong-Eon trapped in a lie far more daunting than any haunting.
