Inu to Owamari-san

Wang Ming-hao, a former police officer, opens a pet shop to honor the dying wish of his best friend, who was tragically killed in the line of duty. Despite his heartfelt dedication to fulfilling this final promise, his naturally intimidating appearance frightens away potential customers, leaving the store completely empty for an entire week after its grand opening. Exhausted by the lack of progress, Wang decides to take a brief nap, only to awaken and discover that he has inexplicably transformed into a dog. Shortly after his bizarre transformation, a mysterious boy appears before him. It is soon revealed that this strange youth is actually a former stray dog that Wang’s late best friend had rescued long ago. As increasingly unusual events begin to unfold around the struggling shop, Wang realizes he cannot solve this supernatural predicament alone. He enlists the help of Li Taiyang, a young man who happens to arrive at the shop seeking a part-time job. Together, the unlikely pair embarks on a desperate search for a way to reverse the curse and restore Wang Ming-hao to his original human form.
