Shitai, Yoi no Sei ni.

When the sun sets over Tokyo, the city’s neon-lit bars and quiet streets become a stage for fleeting encounters. Fueled by alcohol and the cover of darkness, ordinary men and women find themselves surrendering to unexpected impulses. In Toranomon, an office worker runs into her demanding boss at a local bar, only to discover that his harsh demeanor softens after a few drinks. Meanwhile, in Shimokitazawa, a successful career woman reeling from her high-achieving boyfriend's infidelity is suddenly propositioned by a bold younger man, forcing her to reconsider her boundaries. Each neighborhood holds its own intimate secret. In Nakameguro, a woman named Toruko attempts to project a glamorous image for her childhood friend, though her facade resembles nothing more than a crow draped in peacock feathers. In Nakano, Rumi balances her daytime accounting job with secret nighttime shifts at a maid cafe, a double life threatened when a new sales associate uncovers the truth. Over in Ueno, Hatsuka, a pet groomer known for her unique calming techniques on unruly dogs, finds herself hilariously mistaken for a massage therapist by a shy yet handsome young man. Together, these vignettes form an omnibus collection exploring the transient, intoxicating connections forged between strangers lingering in the city late at night.
