In a rural village, a young boy named Kajika possesses extraordinary abilities, eerily reminiscent of a demon. After an outburst of rage, he unintentionally takes the life of a fox, prompting the vengeful spirit to place a curse upon him. As a consequence of this transgression, Kajika's powers are partially sealed, and he is subsequently ostracized by his community, deemed a half-feline, half-human abomination. In order to break the curse and restore balance to his nature, Kajika is compelled to atone by saving the lives of 1000 individuals.
