Pheromone Impossible

Luo Zhiyu, who naturally emits a sweet peach pheromone, and Xiao Yan, characterized by his bright tangerine scent, have been locked in a bitter rivalry since they were just three years old. Despite growing up as constant adversaries, the two have always remained inexplicably drawn to one another, never truly managing to stay apart. According to every scientific metric available to them, their pheromone compatibility is an absolute zero percent—a biological impossibility for any meaningful connection. Yet, against all logic and data, they continually find themselves side by side, unable to break the strange gravitational pull between them. For years, both Luo Zhiyu and Xiao Yan trusted entirely in the rigid numbers of their world, convinced that science dictated the boundaries of their relationship. It is only upon their graduation that the truth finally dawns on them. They come to realize that their strict adherence to empirical data had completely blinded them to what was right in front of them all along. The lifelong feud they believed defined their dynamic was merely a distraction from a deeper bond, proving that some connections defy even the most definitive scientific calculations.
