Eight

In Tokyo's depopulated city center of the 1990s, Udagawa Junior High School is struggling to stay afloat, having lost a significant number of students, including the class leader and good friend of the six remaining students, Masato, who met a tragic end in an illegal skateboarding accident. Five months later, a new student named Eito Hachiya, nicknamed "Eight" or "8," enrolls in the school, bearing an uncanny resemblance to the late Masato. As Eight settles into his new surroundings, he reveals a mysterious connection to the other six students, who inexplicably cannot recall him, sparking a multitude of questions and secrets surrounding his identity and true intentions.
