Sleeping Dead

Sada is a dedicated and earnest high school teacher who has earned the deep admiration of both his students and his colleagues. However, his life takes a terrifying and irreversible turn one night while he is walking through the city streets and stumbles upon one of his students being viciously assaulted in a dark alley. As he desperately attempts to call for assistance, Sada is targeted by the assailant and left bleeding to death on the cold pavement after being struck by a blade. Miraculously, his consciousness returns, but instead of the afterlife, he awakens on a metal slab inside an unfamiliar, sterile laboratory. Standing before him is his mysterious savior, a scientist identified as Mamiya. Yet, Sada soon comes to the horrifying realization that escaping death came at a terrible price: he has been transformed into something profoundly inhuman. Compounding his despair, Sada discovers that his continued existence is now entirely dependent on Mamiya. Thrust into a chilling new reality governed by mortality and terrifying secrets, Sada must navigate a dangerous path to uncover what truly awaits him in this shadowed, post-mortem existence.
