My Tentative Name

A man regains consciousness inside an unfamiliar house, stripped of all memory regarding his surroundings and his own identity. The only certainty in this disorienting void is the gruesome discovery awaiting him: the severed head and lifeless body of a woman he does not recognize. Trapped in a nightmare with no recollection of how he arrived or what role he might have played, his confusion deepens with every passing moment. His isolation is broken by the arrival of a woman named Shio, who addresses him as "Iori" and offers him a lifeline. Yet, her assistance comes wrapped in unsettling composure. Without a flicker of hesitation, she helps him conceal the decapitated corpse, urging him to place his faith entirely in her. As they bury the evidence together, the protagonist is left wrestling with profound doubt. He cannot determine whether "Iori" is truly his name, nor can he decipher Shio's motives. In a situation where murder, lost memories, and blind trust collide, he must decide if the woman guiding him through the darkness is his savior or something far more dangerous.
