Our Fake Marriage

At twenty-nine years old, Yae has spent her adult life working a series of unremarkable temporary jobs, drifting without direction. Her fragile stability shatters completely when she loses both her employment and her home in a single devastating blow. Left with nowhere to turn and entirely at her wits' end, she finds herself facing an uncertain future until an unexpected figure from her past suddenly reappears. Takumi, her childhood friend, has grown into a strikingly handsome and highly successful architect who enjoys a glamorous lifestyle far removed from Yae’s current struggles. Recognizing her desperate situation, he presents her with an extraordinary proposition: she may live rent-free in his luxurious high-rise condominium located in the heart of Tokyo. However, this lavish accommodation comes with a highly unusual condition. In exchange for a roof over her head, Yae must agree to act as his fake wife. What begins as a practical arrangement quickly evolves into something far more complicated. Forced to play the role of a devoted spouse to a smug, accomplished man, Yae must navigate the challenges of their fabricated relationship while living together in one of the city's most exclusive residences. This is the story of an ordinary woman thrust into an extraordinary charade alongside a dangerously attractive architect.
