Hashikko Ensemble

Akira Fujiyoshi and Jin Kimura have just begun their student lives at Hashimoto Technical High School, but the two newcomers could not be more different from one another. Akira struggles with an unusually deep voice that tends to crack whenever he attempts to speak at a higher pitch. Embarrassed by this vocal quirk, he has developed a strong habit of remaining silent, avoiding conversation whenever possible in order to spare himself the discomfort of drawing unwanted attention. Jin, on the other hand, is anything but reserved. Known throughout the school for his fearless enthusiasm and his habit of loudly singing boisterous melodies between classes, he thrives on making his presence heard. Unfazed by social norms or quiet environments, Jin possesses a singular, passionate goal: he wants to gather enough fellow students to establish a dedicated vocal ensemble. This stark contrast sets the stage for an unlikely dynamic. While Akira seeks refuge in silence to hide his vocal insecurities, Jin actively pursues musical expression with relentless energy. As Jin pushes forward with his ambitious plan to recruit members for his new group, the quiet, reluctant Akira finds himself drawn into the orbit of a classmate whose love for music knows no bounds, creating a compelling clash between hesitation and boundless drive.
