This Mage Desires Mediocrity

Mizuki, an adult with a deep passion for gaming, is abruptly transported to an unfamiliar alternate dimension. Refusing to be controlled or captured by anyone in this strange new reality, she relies on her innate resilience and natural aptitude for magic to carve out a path of survival. Determined to live entirely on her own terms, she embraces a lifestyle defined simply by being her authentic self. Her hard-won independence takes an unexpected turn with the arrival of three knights: two who are utterly incompetent and one whose tendencies are decidedly eccentric. These handsome yet profoundly disappointing men introduce a chaotic dynamic into her daily existence, marking the true beginning of Mizuki's unprecedented life in another world. As a mage with a distinctly sadistic streak, she navigates this strange meritocratic society alongside companions whose striking appearances are matched only by their sublimely deplorable flaws. Together, they forge a unique fantasy adventure where mediocrity is the ultimate goal, and embracing one's true nature is the greatest magic of all.
