The Girl Downstairs

As Won-Jun moves into a new apartment to begin his first day of college, he expects nothing more than an ordinary start to his university life. However, his quiet transition is quickly disrupted by the discovery that his downstairs neighbor is Du-Na, a former celebrity who has retreated from the public eye. Seeking refuge from her past life in the entertainment industry, she now lives in near-total seclusion, far removed from the fame that once defined her. Initially, Won-Jun finds Du-Na’s reclusive behavior strange and makes a conscious effort to keep his distance. He intends to avoid any unnecessary complications as he settles into his studies. Yet, despite his best intentions to stay out of her orbit, circumstances soon draw him directly into her private space. Before he fully comprehends the gravity of the situation, Won-Jun finds himself inside her room, unwittingly stepping into a complex world he never anticipated. What begins as a simple desire for a peaceful college experience rapidly evolves into an unforeseen entanglement with a woman desperate to hide from everything she used to be.
